The project includes removal of the weather damaged decking, inspection of supporting structure under the deck, repairs to the structure under the deck, sandblast entire structure of the bridge and repaint, install new wood deck supporting structure, repair broken concrete steps, install new decking and stair boards, treat, stain* and seal entire wood areas of the deck, and treated wood and any other materials from the Project. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, Cressona Borough, Berks County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to said Borough. This Project is being funded through the Commonwealth Financing Authority Local Share Account Program and the Contractor must comply with all of the Grant Requirements.
