Reference Number 0000314609 Platte River seeks bid proposals from contractors to rehabilitate and recoat two Phosphorous Removal System (PRS) Solids Contact Clarifiers at its Rawhide Energy Station. Each Solids Contact Clarifier has an inner diameter of 81 feet, a height of 13 feet, and holds an estimated 500,000 gallons of water when in operation. Each clarifier is of concrete construction, with internal steel components including center well, mixer, scraper, and launder system. The work includes recoating all steel components of the PRS Solids Contact Clarifiers, replacing all PRS Solids Contact Clarifiers hardware, and completing metal and concrete repairs, as needed. Preliminary drawings are included, to give contractors a better understanding of the equipment to be rehabilitated.
