Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wellington, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a wastewater treatment plant.
As of December 27, 2021, the Masterplan has been completed. This study will fully analyze the Towns wastewater system (wastewater treatment plant included) and the adequacy and condition of its components, examine the systems capability to serve into the future, and identify recommendations for needed capital improvements with cost estimates. Updated GIS mapping, computer model simulations, and an assessment of the collection system along with the wastewater treatment plant with a prioritization of system improvements and a long-term plan are all needed components of this project. This master plan will provide the Town with tools and guidance to assist in planning, rehabilitation, upgrading, expansion, management, and funding of its wastewater system.
