Included in the existing medium voltage system are many sub-grade medium voltage vacuum switches which are reaching end of life and have several other environmental and maintenance issues. The purpose of this project is to replace specific existing sub-grade medium voltage vacuum switches with new grade level pad-mounted, air-insulated medium voltage switches to address equipment end of life issues and provide better maintenance access to the equipment. In addition, existing pad mounted transformers will be modified under this project to have externally mounted oil sample test ports installed. Work consists of providing all supplies, tools, labor, materials, equipment, services, transportation, rigging, utilities, accessories, supervision, and administration required in conjunction with or properly incidental to Project construction.
