Saving Project...

Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,200-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility; 2,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and elderly care / assisted living facility.

The Department of Technology, Management and Budget is requesting professional architectural and engineering services for the design and construction administration of a Laundry, Pharmacy, and Office building at the request of the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. The new facility will be located at the site of a recently demolished building on the Grand Rapids Veterans Home campus. The program consists of: o 1,000 sf Pharmacy including one (1) office space for Pharmacist - to be located on 1st floor. o 1,200 sf Laundry facility including loading dock - to be located on 1st floor. o 2,000 sf Office (both open and private), bathroom, and Storage - to be located on 2nd floor. Design should also include landscaping, and Furniture, Fixturing, and Equipment throughout the new facility. This request is to provide Phase 300 Schematic Design, Phase 400 Preliminary Design, Phase 500 Final Design, Phase 600 Construction Administration/Office, and Phase 700 Construction Administration/Field Inspection Services.
