Site work for a water / sewer project in Lowden, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of nearly 700 feet of sanitary sewer with new 8- inch PVC sewer via trenched installation. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code in an amount equal to 5% percent of the total amount of the bid. The City of Lowden, IA reserves the right to reject any and all bids We understand that the project consists of the construction of various improvements to the Wastewater Treatment System (WWTS) in Lowden, Iowa. The improvements, along with the proposed locations and anticipated excavation depths, are shown in the following table. A separate geotechnical evaluation, dated June 11, 2018, has been issued for the proposed lagoons.
