CLARIFICATION DEADLINE Question Deadline 04/13/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Inquiries related to this solicitation shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within PennBid. -The intent and meaning of the Contract Documents require that you, the CONTRACTOR, under the terms of the Contract, take such action as necessary or required to provide labor, plant, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities and appurtenances thereto, which are indicated, or reasonably implied by each Section of the Specifications, all of which are collectively necessary and required for the execution of the work. -Procure and install several master meter vaults and interconnections to existing water mains. Inquiries related to this solicitation shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within PennBid. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Borough of Mifflinburg in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, as currently amended, and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Work in Contract No. 23-01 is to be substantially completed within 90 days from the specified date. Borough of Mifflinburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
