Only one bid received. Project will rebid but no definite date. The proposed renovations to Swoyersville Borough Municipal Building are: (1) Remove existing windows and replace with new vinyl windows. Fifteen windows are schedule to be replaced. (2) Remove existing roof and install new EPDM roof. (3) Provide new side rain gutter and downspouts. (4) Remove existing roof HVAC unit and install new roof HVAC unit for meeting room. (5) Remove existing exterior manager's office door and install new metal exterior door. Connect to existing key fob system and mag lock to new exterior door. (6) Remove existing overhead garage door and install new insulated metal overhead door. (7) New LED light fixtures in the basement area. (8) Two new electrical outlets in the basement area. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. The successful bid will be required to submit Non- Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which is contained in the Contract Documents.
