Attendance at the pre-bid conference is strongly recommended. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond with an eighteen (18) month warranty within ten (10) days of the bid award, executed by a surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. West Pikeland Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders. The project involves but is not limited to: 2-inch depth milling, delivery/placement of 2- inch compacted depth Superpave Warm Mix Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5 mm mix, Double Asphalt & Chip with Fog Seal, shoulder restoration, and base repair for various roads in the township. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via PennBid's "Question" tab. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted to PennBid's "Documents" tab. All parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents will be notified via email. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 7.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by Owner or Engineer
