DiRocco General Contractors, Inc. for $17,084.48.* The successful bidder who is awarded the contract will be assessed a capped fee determined by online. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the West Pikeland Township in the amount equal to Ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal as Bid security. The project involves, but is not limited to: 2-inch depth milling, delivery/placement of 2-inch compacted depth Superpave Warm Mix Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5 mm mix, shoulder restoration, and base repair for Saint Peters Way (full width - estimated at 1,866 square yards). West Pikeland Township will pay for the asphalt materials directly from the asphalt plant of the Township's choosing through Pennsylvania's COSTARS program. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond with an eighteen (18) month warranty within ten (10) days of the bid award, executed by a surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This work is anticipated to be under the prevailing wage threshold ($100,000) for local road projects as established by Act 89 of 2013 related to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. West Pikeland Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
