Site work and paving for a civil project in West Vincent Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project involves the removal of existing storm sewer pipes, the installation of new storm sewer inlets, pipes, structures, riprap aprons, the installation of drainage swales, pavement base drain installation, tree/ vegetation removal, and the installation of erosion control fabric along Kimberton Road. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a worker's compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming West Vincent Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 10 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. Project is to be substantially completed by July 15, 2022. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $400.00 per calendar day. Clarification Deadline: 4/1/2022 5:00 PM
