As of July 7, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment to demo existing mailboxes and walls, installation of owner provided new cluster mailbox system, new wall framing and drywall, misc. electrical work, new air source heat pump with condenser, floor patch repair and new cove base, new acoustical ceiling, and relocation of one sprinkler head. The contractor is responsible for all associated permit fees. The successful quoter will be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to 50% of the total contract amount. The job site and/or existing building will be available for inspection by appointment. The quoter certifies by submission of a quote that it is not a debarred, suspended, or ineligible contractor by an Agency of the Federal or State government. The Contractor shall complete all work required under this contract within 60 calendar days of the effective date of the contract, or within the time schedule established in the notice to proceed issued by the Contracting Officer. A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Selective demolition of walls and existing mailbox system - estimated 20 linear feet. 2. New 3 5/8 '' metal stud wall framing and drywall with finishing - estimated 30 linear ft. Framing to extend from floor and attach to concrete deck. Furnish and install r-11 sound damping insulation in new walls. 3. Acoustic Ceiling Tiles (ACT) ceiling installation - estimated 96 square feet of 24'' x 24'' grid layout tile size. 4. Installation of 5 new owner provided cluster mailbox systems. 5. Electrical work - o Relocation of existing light switch(s) to new wall. o Add additional outlets (6 outlets) and 2 data drops. o Power supply to new air source heat pump and condenser. o Furnish and install two (2) 24'' x 24'' Led drop in lights in new ceiling. Lights connected to existing lobby lighting. 6. Furnish and install a new fully functioning air source heat pump with exterior placement of condenser.
