must be clearly marked PAVING BID and received by the HiThe Town of Highgate is currently accepting bids for Road Paving. Bids ghgate Town Administrator, PO Box 189, Highgate Center, VT 05459. St. Armand Rd. - from Gagne Road to Campagna Rd, approximately 5,700 feet. 1,000 feet starting at Gagne Road will need a 0.75 shim, and the total 5,700 feet will need a 1.5-inch overlay. All of the road is 22 feet wide. Durkee Rd- from Hanna Road Intersection to end of pavement, approximately 1,200 feet long by 22 feet wide. All a 0.75-inch shim and 1.5-inch overlay. Rainville Road- from Gore Road to the end of pavement, approximately, 3,500 feet long will all need just 1.5-inch overlay, no shim. The road is 22 feet wide for 1,800 feet from Gore Road and then the remaining 1,700 feet are 18 feet wide. Machia Rd- from the B-25 Bridge to #2221, approximately 1 mile long by 22 feet wide. 0.5-inch shim and 1.5-inch overlay (this road segment is pending grant approval).
