Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW23R0023 - Griff Creek Bridge Construction Project: The Griff Creek Bridge Construction project will include but not limited to construct a 30-foot road bridge on Gas Line Road, across Griff Creek. It also includes constructing the approaches to the bridge on Gas Line Road. Gas Line Road will be closed to public during construction. All construction shall be compliant with Lahontan Water Quality Board permit. This contract is through an agreement with California Tahoe Conservancy, the bridge plans require site visits at specific points of completion by the Engineer of Record. Near the bridge site is a high-pressure gas main which will need to be located prior to construction. Solicitation Number 127EAW23R0023 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 3rd, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
