Site work for a water / sewer project in Independence, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Update: The lagoons at the plant receive the water from the filter backwashing process. Over time, these lagoons loose their available capacity due to the settlement of treatment residuals from the backwash water. This project will provide for the removal and land application of those residuals from the lagoons. Project is included City of Independence Fiscal Year 2025-2030 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The lagoons at the plant receive the water from the filter backwashing process. Fiscal Year: 2023-2026 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
