Provide for the safe and effective transfer and installation of the existing USDA-owned radio transmitter rack and antenna from the designated storage facility to the Ravinia Radio Tower, located in Ravinia TX IAW the attached Statement of Work (SOW) 3.1 Technical Requirements: 3.1.1 Contractor must be capable of tower climbing at the designated APHIS delivery location. 3.1.2 Contractor must be skilled at installation of Radio Antenna and coax with appropriate hardware, hangers, jumpers and weatherproofing on Radio tower. 3.1.3 Delivery and off-load of communications supplies and radio transmitter rack to the alternate site requires a high degree of specialized equipment and technical expertise to accomplish. 3.2 Radio supplies Description: 3.2.1 AVAS-6 (1.25") feedline or otherwise specified, including hardware, N connectors, hangars, weatherproofing, and jumpers as needed for delivery location. 3.2.2 Other supplies include, but not limited to, cable hangars, sweep lines, polyphaser at cable thru boots, polyphaser duplexer, ground to bar, LDF4-50A jumper 1/2 " to radio rack, install GFE rack/radio/duplexer. 3.3 Radio Antenna, Coax and related materials Delivery: 3.3.1 All radio supplies and equipment shall be installed in strict compliance with established manufacturer guidelines and specifications to ensure proper installation and adherence to warranty and/or extended warranty requirements as provided by the manufacturers. 3.3.2 Contractor is required to install Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Installation of GFE shall be coordinated with the Owner and per the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure warranties remain intact. 4.0 Period of Performance: 30 days from award of the contract 5.0 Government Furnished Equipment: - ICOM Eclipse2 IP VHF Repeater and Eclipse2 IP Power Amplifier - Telewave TPRD 1554 VHR System Duplexer - Tripplite Smartpro 1500 UPS - Antenna Comprod - Antenna Standoff Bracket (Side-Mount) 6.0 Contract Tasks: Task 0001 - Transfer USDA radio equipment (transmitter, rack and antenna) from the Brandwood Wireless, Inc. storage facility to the Ravinia Radio Tower site Task 0002 - Antenna and Coax install on Ravinia Radio Tower located in La Feria, Texas o Climb and install one (1) GFE antenna with contractor supplied pipe-to-pipe clamp to the the tower. o Install 525ft of AVA6-50 1.25" Heliax cable, cable hangars, sweep lines, polyphaser at cable thru boots, polyphaser at duplexer, ground to bar, LDF4-50A jumper 1/2 " to radio rack. o Line sweep of Antenna feed line after installation. o Install inside leased communication shelter; GFE floor-mounted communication rack. o Install rack mounted equipment, i.e. repeater, duplexer, lightning and surge protection panel, UPS, power systems, network equipment and intermod panel. o Install all necessary connection cables, i.e. RF Jumpers, power cords, network cables etc... o Connect communication rack to shelter grounding system and commercial power, all installations must be IAW (R-56) radio standards. 7.0 Type of Contract This government will issue a firm-fixed price contract. 8.0 Place of Performance USDA radio equipment currently stored at facility owned and operated by Brandwood Wireless, Inc. located in Pharr, Texas. Installation work will be conducted at the Ravinia Radio Tower site (872557) in the city of LaFeria, the county of Cameron, in the state of Texas (managed by Pinnacle Towers, LLC.).
