Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a theater / auditorium in Kure Beach, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the renovation of a theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.
This project is for major renovation and expansion of the existing Aquarium at Fort Fisher facility in Kure Beach. The expanded layout is anticipated to include: Main Entry Upgrades and Wayfinding, Reconfiguration of the Gift Shop, New Habitat Graphics and Renovations of Public Area Finishes and Restrooms, New Habitats in the "Exotic Aquatics" Area, New Sand Tiger Shark Habitat, Education Wing Addition, New Bus Drop and Entry Pavilion, New Conservation Gallery Habitats, and Updated Physical Plant and Cooling Towers. Total Construction Cost is currently estimated to be approximately $44,000,000. The total project costs are estimated to be approximately $55,000,000 which includes design fees, construction management fees, escalation, other owner costs, and contingencies. Attach letter from Surety Company or its agent licensed to do business in North Carolina verifying proposer's capability of providing adequate performance and payment bonds for this project.
