Vinland Elementary School (VES) - Safe Walking Paths Project Location: 22104 Rhododendron Ln, Poulsbo, WA 98370 Scope of Work: Project consists of adding a new approx. 8' wide gravel security corridor/pathway around the treed partial perimeter of Vinland Elementary. This project will entail removal grubbing and tree removal as needed. Some chain-link fencing and gates will be added as shown. Additionally, new Asphalt & road markings will need to be added to support the modified bus driving lane. The awarded contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, Kitsap County prevailing wage labor, equipment and incidentals to fully perform all the work as outlined in both this ITB/RFP, scope of work, plans and specifications. The Project is more thoroughly described in the Specifications, Bidding Documents, and Contract Documents. The bids will include all Work pursuant to the Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda as may be issued prior to bid opening date.Contractor will have 78 calendar days to complete construction, calculated from Limited Notice to Proceed anticipated on Friday, June 9, 2023, through Substantial Completion on Friday, August 25, 2023. Owner reserves the right to postpone the bid opening by Addenda. Bid results shall be posted the following day.These meetings are intended to provide a general review between prospective bidders, Owner, and Engineer prior to bidding the Project.Both meetings are the same. Any changes resulting from the meetings will be made by Addenda. This Project is subject to Washington State prevailing wages rates. Bidding Documents (Plans and Specifications) will be available for examination and distribution on or after May 1, 2023.
