As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. This project will be rebid on a later date that has not yet been determined. Replace a portion of the existing sewer main near the old FAA Air Traffic Control Tower at the Hilo International Airport. The scope of work consists of repairing an underground sewer main outside of the old FAA Airport Traffic Control Tower building including excavation. The estimated construction cost is between $25,000 to $50,000. All requests for information shall be received in writing via online prior to the Question Due Date. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal requests for information will not receive a response. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals for the best interest of the public. The work shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the underground sewer pipe repairs determined to be necessary. The existing flow in the line segment being replaced shall be controlled whenever necessary during replacement. C. The worksite is located within the Airport Operations Area (AOA). Personnel will be required to obtain the necessary AOA badging in order access the area. Vehicles will also be required to obtain the necessary AOA Construction Pass.
