Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
As of July 17, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Luzerne County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for Wilkes-Barre Wyoming Valley Airport Apron Reconstruction Project. The project can generally be described as in-place full depth pavement reclamation and Asphalt Surface Course overlay for approximately 90,000 square feet of apron pavement. Excessive cracking has led to a deterioration in the existing surface and underlying courses in the apron. Reclamation and overlay of the existing pavement will provide a new 20yr life to the pavement and maintain a foreign object debris free surface for its users. Due to relocation of based aircraft during construction of the project, twenty (20) temporary turf tie-down sets will be required for Phase 1 *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time. Interested subcontractors should contact the general contractor directly for more information.
