The Town of Fairfax is inviting licensed contractors to bid on the repair of Main Street (Rt 104) L.S. 0287+76LT&RT: 1 ) the full depth, square saw-cut removal of 45 linear feet of asphalt 24 ft in width, 2) the full depth, square saw-cut removal of 14 linear feet of asphalt shoulder by 9 feet in width, 3) compact trench backfill as necessary, 4) apply new base coat in accordance with current VTrans Spec. - "Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridge Construction", Department of Highways of the State of Vermont, 5) apply top coat in accordance with VTrans Spec. - "Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridge Construction", Department of Highways of the State of Vermont, and 6) reinstall 46’ linear feet of asphalt curbing, and 7) restripe centerline and shoulder of impacted area
