PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP is requesting Bids for the construction of the MILL STREET SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION, generally consisting of the installation of gravity sanitary sewer lines, laterals, and manholes along SR 0029.Prospective Bidders are urged to register with PennBid as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The PennBid website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for this Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the PennBid Program. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and include forms, qualification statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price. All contracts must comply with the conditions of this grant award and comport with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The general minimum prevailing wage rate as determined by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry is required for all work completed under this contract, as well as subcontracts.
