This project consists of replacing and adding sidewalk around the Courthouse Square. The approximate quantities are 1384 square yards of sidewalk, 627 ft of curb and gutter, 3 handicap accessible curb ramps, and 117 ft of storm drain with two inlets. The removal of sidewalk, curb and gutter and traffic control will be provided by Phillips County forces. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of PHILLIPS COUNTY negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. Phillips County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of Phillips County, is in the best interests of the County
