The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to supply labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to improve approximately 1,420 linear feet of Big Rock Road. The project will upgrade the existing unpaved road to MSB residential standards and pave. This project will involve, but is not limited to, clearing, grubbing, 2,400 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation, 4,150 tons of Borrow, Type B, 2,500 tons of Borrow, Type IIA, 700 tons of Aggregate Base Course, Grading D-1, 450 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt, Type II; Class B, installing drainage culverts and relocating existing signs. Additional items include topsoil and seeding. Substantial Completion is set at September 30, 2023, with Final Completion of June 28, 2024
