This 2-acre park project provides for the construction a multi-use court, group picnic area, fitness stations, lawn area and childrens play area. The work includes but is not limited to earthwork, storm drainage, playground equipment, sports equipment, chain link fencing, site furnishings, stabilized decomposed granite paving, shade structure, site concrete, asphalt concrete paving, electrical, irrigation, soil preparation and planting as shown in the Specifications and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the City Engineer. All bidders must possess a valid class A California contractors license and bids must include bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. BID INELIGIBILITY: A firm that has provided architectural or engineering services to the Department for this contract before bid submittal for this contract is prohibited from any of the following: (1) submitting a bid; (2) subcontracting for any part of the work; or (3) supplying materials to any contractor or subcontractor working on the project.
