This project is anticipated to be rebid in Fall/Winter of 2024. 2023-2024 Vault Improvement Project 4390S 2200W - Taylorsville - Abandon vault, bury gate valves, and relocate air vac manhole to the right of way on the side of the street. 4330S 300W - Murray - Abandon vault, bury gate valves, and relocate air vac manhole to the right of way on the side of the street 4500S 350E - Murray/Millcreek boundary - Modify blowoff manhole piping and valves. 11400S State St - Draper / Sandy boundary - Construct new vault and piping to a location out of the intersection and abandon existing vault. 11400S 100E - Draper / Sandy boundary - Remove existing and replace vault roof, valves, welded steel pipe, electrical, and communications. 11400S 700E - Draper / Sandy boundary - Remove and replace existing welded steel pipe, valves, entrance, electrical, and communications. The actual wages paid plus any employer payments to, or on behalf of workers for fringe benefits including health and welfare, pension, vacation, and similar purposes. The cost of labour may include the rates paid to foremen when determined by the ENGINEER that the services of foremen do not constitute a part of the overhead allowance. All payments imposed by state and federal laws including, but not limited to, compensation insurance, and social security payments. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right after award of the Contract to increase or decrease the quantities of any unit price item of the work by an amount up to and including 25 percent of the quantity= of any bid item, or to omit portions of such work as may be deemed necessary or expedient by the Engineer or Owner, without a change in the unit price. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, money order or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price payable to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, provide evidence of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price.
