Renovation of a medical facility in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Department of Health (DOH), Hawaii State Hospital (HSH), is interested in contracting the labor, equipment, tools and materials to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of the Guensberg Fire Pump on the grounds of Hawaii State Hospital property. Any questions can be discussed with Troy Adams, HSH Plant Facilities Manager, 808-306-0431 or troy.adams@doh.hawaii.gov, at the pre-bid conference The Contractor shall provide the services required under the contract from September 25, 2023, to November 30, 2023, unless the contract is sooner terminated. Perform replacement upgrade to Guensberg building's vertical inline fire pump. Upgrade all fire & jockey pump sensing lines to meet current NFPA 20 code compliance guidelines & commissioning requirements. New testing trees to be installed on the existing fire & jockey pump controllers. (Existing Fire & Jockey Pump Controllers to be utilized w/ new pump * Install & route new drain lines to the existing floor drain. Drains include the casing relief valve & packing drip drain lines. *Replace jockey pump suction control valve w/ NFPA/UL compliant Gate-Style control valve. Pricing should include new Patterson VIP pump (or comparable), materials, labor, disposal of demoed equipment, electrical disconnect and reconnect, start up & commissioning of new fire pump w/ manufacturer's service representative. Commissioning & startup documentation shall be provided upon completion. Logistics & freight will be included.
