**As of October 12, 2023, project was awarded to Carrier Corporation, awarded amount is $79,910.97.** Repair the Air Conditioning System at the Guensberg Building that has failed and now running using a mobile temporary chiller trailer Recover all refrigerants. Remove and replace six (6) condenser coils with aluminum fin/copper tubes. No microchannel allowed. Apply anti-corrosion coating before installation. Prep frames and housing with wire brush and apply rust inhibitor. Replace liquid line dries, txv, and associated copper piping. Replace flow switch and flow switch cable. Remove and replace with two (2) new compressors from circuit #1. Remove and replace compressor oil for the three (3) compressors on circuit #2. Leak check both circuits. Pull vacuum and weigh-in factory charge with new refrigerant. Replace one (1) condenser fan motor. Certificate of insurance Questions regarding this IFB shall be submitted via HIePRO by September 15, 2023, 2:00 PM. Answers to questions shall be published on September 19, 2023, 2:00 PM. Only questions submitted via HIePRO shall be answered, no other questions shall be accepted. At completion of the work, Contractor will provide a written warranty that the completed project is free from any workmanship or material defects for a period of one (1) year starting from the date of the works formal acceptance. The warranty shall state that, in case of any workmanship defects that will occur within the period of one (1) year, the Contractor shall implement the necessary corrective work without charging the State for the costs of materials, labor, and equipment use.
