Site work and paving for a civil project in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Approximately 1,400 linear feet (LF) of driveway reconstruction and 2,560 LF of conduit installation. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The City of Pewaukee reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The Strand Associates, Inc.(R) project manager is Emily A. Rowntree, P.E. and can be contacted at Strand Associates, Inc.(R), 126 North Jefferson Street, Suite 350, Milwaukee, WI 53202, (414) 271-0771, regarding the Project. For further requirements regarding Bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and Contract Award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before November 22, 2023, or 28 calendar days after on-site construction commences, whichever comes first. For each day that construction is shut down due to funeral services, all completion deadlines shall be extended one day.
