Site work for a water / sewer project in Pacific, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Pacific proposes to remove a beaver dam on Milwaukee Creek using a backhoe. Dam removal will follow the guidance provided in Washington Administrative Code 220- 660- 230 and the conditions of HPA 2022-9-13+01, Beaver Dam Removal and Modification in WSDOT right-of way. The backhoe will be parked adjacent to the creek and the arm and bucket used to remove the dam City of Pacific The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). Any person wishing to appeal this determination may file such an appeal within twenty-one (21) days from the issued date of this threshold determination to the Pacific City Clerk. All appeals of the above determination must be filed by 5:00 P.M. July 26th, 2023. There is a $1000.00 fee to appeal this determination.
