Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The Fitchburg Airport Commission seeks responsible partners to develop a parcel of land to occupy a hangar/hangars varying in size from a set of, or a multiple set of "T" hangars, or large hangars up to 7000 Sq. Ft or larger, for Commercial Jets up to 40,000 Sq. Ft. The Fitchburg Airport Commission believes an operation of this type and magnitude will complement current operations of the Municipal Airport and support the mission of the Fitchburg Airport Commission. New construction on the parcel shall be completed within 18 months of final agreement being executed. Questions requiring clarification and all other inquiries shall be submitted in writing to the Chief Procurement Officer only, prior to the deadline stated in the General Requirements and Specifications, in order to afford the City of Fitchburg adequate time to respond prior to the deadline for submission
