Site work for a transportation facility in Dubuque, Iowa. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This will provide for rehabilitating Taxiway Alpha over seven years and six construction phases. The preliminary design phase for the rehabilitation of Taxiway Alpha including planning, schematic design, and environmental assessment, was completed in FY22. Construction has begun on the SE end of the Airport at the end of Runway 31 and is to include all aspects of taxiway reconstruction, including finish grading, drainage, under drains, paving, airfield lighting, marking, and turfing. Eash phase will include approximately 1,300 LF of Taxiway A relocation, working to the NW at a standard parallel offset distance of 400 feet from Runway 13/31. This project is included City's fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of April 15, 2025, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
