Site work for a water / sewer project in Peru, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a new gravity sanitary sewer to the east of the existing manhole within a public utility easement. Improvements include constructing approximately 1,342 feet of 8 sanitary sewer, 299 feet of 6 sanitary sewer laterals, 4 concrete sanitary manholes, and all associated appurtenances to complete the construction. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the City of Peru. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractors obligations under the Contract Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete on or before December 1, 2023, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before December 31, 2023.
