Demolition, site work, remodeling and addition to a mixed-use development in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the addition of a 200,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the remodel of a 200,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of October 26, 2023, there is no further bidding and construction is underway. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This bid package includes concrete foundations, structural steel, excavation and site finishes. The project consists of two classroom additions that are two story on the west side of the building and one single story administrative addition. Bid package 2 will include the remainder of the scope for the additions as-well as remodeling the existing 200,000 SF school. Bids will be opened at Market & Johnson's Eau Claire office. Bids will be opened in the presence of the school district representatives. Bid results will be released after approval by the School District. The Owner is considered a tax-exempt entity, therefore WI. Stat. 77.54(9m) will be utilized on this project. A walk through will not be held for this package. It is the responsibility of the contractor to review existing site conditions prior to submitting a bid. Construction is expected to start October 2023. Completion is expected December 2025.
