The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law. The work to be done under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and incidentals required to crack seal various Town streets over a three-year period. The specific areas have not been formally designated for the hot applied mastic, fog seal, micro-surfacing, or cape seal; options will be explored upon review of the cost. The maximum amount of this contract for random pavement preservation services will be $50,000 - $100,000/year (all funds are subject to appropriation).
