Site work for a water / sewer project in Newton, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Newton is seeking statements of qualifications from professional civil engineering firms to provide surveying, planning, engineering design, permitting, bidding assistance which includes plans and specifications, as well as, construction contract administrations and part time observation from firms interested in providing engineering services related to water main replacement. The purpose of the project is to replace a four-inch cast iron water main with an eightinch water main, over forty water service lines, and a few fire hydrants. Project area is on West 15th Street between North Main Ave and North Deal Ave. This project will have a quick turnaround time from engineering design to final completion of construction.
