Site work and paving for a civil project in Gray Creek, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Overview of Work/Service Required. Gray Creek Forest Service Road Maintenance works will include but are not limited to: brush pulling, ditch-line clean out, culvert intake and outlet clean out, culvert replacement, snag removal, woody and rocky debris removal/end haul, bridge and road sign replacement/repair, no-post removal to facilitate brushing-levelling-then replacement. Required materials such as culverts, road signs and/or posts are supplied by the Ministry. Hauling of the required materials however will be part of the contractor's responsibility. A Laborer, with his own pick up, is to work in conjunction with equipment to place signage, direct traffic, pre- mark culvert intakes and outlets, remove rocks on the driving surface, clean out culvert intakes/outlets after works, buck out leaners over ditch and road, clean off bridge decks, fill in voids, etc. Contract duration : The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s). Other bidder: Moses Excavating & Milling Corp. - $264,457 Award is subject to final approval.
