Renovation of a military facility in Paris, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

All communications, oral and written (regular mail, express mail, electronic mail, fax, courier or hand delivery), concerning this procurement shall be addressed to the contact above and they shall be the sole point of contact throughout the procurement process. Remove asbestos containing materials (ACM) in window glazing of Buildings 19, 43, 105 and 139. All permits, notifications, licenses, and inspections, if required, shall be secured by the vendor. Best Value Ranking Approach. The Commonwealth intends to award a Contract to the Vendor, whose offer, conforming to the Solicitation, is the most advantageous on the basis of "best value" for all products, services, and requirements contained herein. An evaluation committee, or a designated individual, will evaluate the information provided by the Vendor in response to the established measurable criteria contained in the Solicitation. This written notice of award (or acceptance of offer) mailed or otherwise furnished to the offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer shall be deemed to result in a binding contract without further action by either party. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. SCOPE OF WORK: Remove asbestos containing materials (ACM) in window glazing of Buildings 19, 43, 105 and 139. 2. REFERENCES: ASTI Project #NB938 Buildings 19, 43, 105 and 139 Reports. 3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 3.1. All permits, notifications, licenses, and inspections, if required, shall be secured by the vendor. 3.2. Set up containment and negative air machines. 3.3. Remove ACM window glazing from seven (7) 8 ft. X 10 ft. windows and four (4) 3 ft. X 4 ft. windows at Building 19. 3.4. Remove ACM window glazing from four (4) 10 ft. X 5 ft. windows, two (2) 6 ft. X 5 ft. windows and one (1) 5 ft. X 5 ft. window at Building 43. 3.5. Remove ACM window glazing from four (4) 3.5 ft. X 4 ft. windows at Building 105. 3.6. Remove ACM window glazing from six (6) 4 ft. X 4 ft. windows at Building 139. 3.7. Properly dispose of all ACM and contaminated materials in accordance with local, state and federal laws. 3.8. The vendor shall follow all applicable EPA and OSHA regulations. 3.9. The vendor and all employees must maintain a valid Kentucky asbestos accreditation.
