The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The project includes removal of existing playground equipment, installation of new playground equipment and safety surfacing, installation of basketball hoops and painting of court lines, and restoration of lawn and various appurtenances. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
