Site work and paving for a road / highway in Green River, Wyoming. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sweetwater County, Wyoming is requesting technical and price proposals from consulting engineering firms related to the pavement solutions of two sections of energy-related roads within the County. Those roads are 9 Mile Road (CR15) and Wasmutter Crooks Gap North (CR 23N). The selected consultant shall include all geotechnical investigations (recommendations on subgrade modifications and pavement sections to be included), topographic surveys, drainage investigation/design, fencing, widening, necessary traffic control solutions during construction and roadway design in their proposal. The selected consultant shall provide full Plan and Profile design plans that include appropriate and long-term solutions for all aspects of the roadways. PROPOSAL/CONTRACT TIMELINE Consultant RFP's due by Friday, September 15th, at 4:00 P.M. Consultant contract awarded by the SWCO BOCC on October 3rd, 2023. Preliminary Design Completed by January 30th , 2024. Final Report Design Completed by May 1st, 2024. Bid Date by June 6th, 2024. *If this schedule does not work or can be accelerated, please indicate an alternate in the RFP Per Owner, modified Brooks Act applies to this project. Professional selection to be made on best qualified firm.
