The Town of Wilton seeks bidders for a water main extension project. Said project to include extending a municipal water main under NH Route 31 North (Forest Road), along Gregg Street, and terminating at the rear of the Wilton and Gregg Free Public Library property. Purpose of the project is to allow for installation of a sprinkler system for the Library, but will also provide installation of a hydrant and allow water system hookups for properties on Gregg Street. Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meetings: Bidders may request town staff to schedule a worksite walk up to four weekdays (Monday - Friday) prior to bid deadline. The main respondent must furnish a payment bond and performance bond, each amounting to 100% of the project cost at the time of contract signing. The Select Board of the Town of Wilton reserves the right to reject all or any part of any or all proposals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any proposal that it deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Wilton. CONTRACTOR agrees to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the completion of the Wilton and Gregg Free Library water main extension project, as detailed in the Plan Set titled Wilton Public Library Water Main Extension dated December 16, 2024 by Meridian Engineering and in the Town of Wiltons Invitation for Bids, titled IFB #09-24 Library Water Main Extension, subject to all the conditions set out in the latter IFB document and subsequently in this contract.
