Questions regarding this legal notice or the proposal package must be in writing and emailed directly to mtrinco@oswegoil.org until September 12, 2023, at 9:00 AM local time. Responses will be posted in website by September 15, 2023, at 12:00 PM local time. The Village is requesting pricing for:
A. General - Contractor Responsibilities
i. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work described in this document.
ii. Work includes all preparation work; removal and disposal of all materials and debris; site and personal protective equipment. The contractor shall provide a project schedule.
iii. Obtain an electrical permit from the Village of Oswego for the work described. The Village will waive the permit fee.
iv. Complete incentive program application for the Village. The contractor will receive the incentive check and will deduct that amount from the project cost. The Village will provide a copy of a recent electric bill for incentive calculations and applications.
v. Before beginning work, the contractor must secure approval from the Village for the following:
a. Areas permitted for contractor parking.
b. Areas permitted for equipment and dumpster storage.
c. Areas permitted for the loading and unloading of equipment.
vi. Remove all existing light bulbs.
vii. Wire past the existing ballasts, leaving the old ballasts in place.
viii. Install new Phillips tube LEDs and new drivers, rated of 70,000 hours of use. Alternative bids utilizing a different product will be accepted, however the base bid must include the specified Philips product.
ix. Provide a 3-year warranty on labor and materials.
x. The Village is Tax Exempt and can provide the certificate upon request
