The project site is the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center, located at 23400 Park Sorrento in Calabasas, CA 91302. This project will consist of two pools at the Tennis and Swim Center, the main pool and the instructional pool. The scope of the job is: o Both pools will have already been drained. Strip plaster to a rough and bondable surface. o Apply three coats of white plaster and finish to a smooth surface to both pools. Install all new fittings and drain covers. Also install (4) 3-bend custom handrails in the main pool only. o Apply three coats of white plaster and finish to a smooth surface to small pool. Install new fittings and drain covers. o Tile appears to be in good shape in both pools, but some repairs might be necessary if it is broken while removing the plaster. However, if it is found that its more realistic to replace the tile that will be done upon approval from the City. When the pools are drained, contractors can better assess the tile. o Install all necessary depth markers at waterline and deck of both pools. o Install eleven (11) Energy Efficient LED lights. Ten (10) are for the main pool and one (1) is for the instructional pool. o Start-up both pools. Start-up will consist of brushing plaster and vacuuming plaster dust also balancing alkalinity and pH before chlorine can be added. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid Construction Start Date, not earlier than 2nd day of January, 2024 Construction End Date, not later than 29th day of February, 2024
