The landscape maintenance contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and work necessary to perform landscape maintenance to all noted areas within the City of Calabasas, Ca. The City of Calabasas would like to retain the services of a qualified Landscape Maintenance Company to perform landscape maintenance work throughout the City. The respective areas of this contract are city parks within the City of Calabasas. The work to be done consists of, but not limited to, maintenance of landscape plantings, irrigation systems, various hardscape areas, play areas, and sidewalks/walkways within City parks within the City of Calabasas. Refer to cost-breakdown schedules herein as well as maps for a complete understanding of all maintenance work to be performed. Question Deadline:07/20/2023 at 3:00 PM PT The purpose of this contract is to provide a detailed service of landscape maintenance needs to the City. The City is responsible for maintenance of landscape plantings, irrigation systems, various hardscape areas, play areas, and sidewalks/walkways within City parks within the City of Calabasas. The PAYMENT BOND shall remain in force until thirty-five (35) days after the date of recordation of the Notice of Completion. The FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND shall remain in force until the date of recordation of the Notice of Completion. The MAINTENANCE BOND shall remain in force until one (1) year after the date of recordation of the Notice of Completion. The Consultant shall forfeit as a penalty to City $50.00 or any greater penalty provided in the Labor Code for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each worker paid less than the prevailing wage rates for any work done under the Agreement employed in the execution of the work by Consultant or by any subcontractor of Consultant in violation of the provisions of the Labor Code. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Agency reserves the right to waive any irregularities.
