THE DALLES FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, PORTLAND DISTRICT 1. General This is a Sources Sought posted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Contracting, Portland District, Supply & Services Branch (CECT-NWP-S) and is for informational/market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation nor a synopsis of a proposed action under FAR Subpart 5.2. The Dalles Lock and Dam requires full fire protection per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in this Sources Sought (exact quantity and periods of performance are to be determined). The Dalles Lock and Dam therefore seeks any information, interest and/or the availability to procure these items on the open market. Questions are welcome and will be directed to the appropriate subject matter experts. This is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price contract. 2. Project Background The Dalles Dam is in Wasco County, Oregon and Klickitat County, Washington. Former contracts include W9127N20P0132. 3. Capability Statements Contractors are requested to submit their capabilities to successfully provide full- fire protection services per the enclosed Performance Work Statement (PWS). An anticipated for a contract for these services is for 01 October 2023. Target will be dependent on results of preliminary market research and solicitation results. A site is expected for this requirement, is to be determined but expected to occur September 2023. All interested, capable Small Business concerns are highly encouraged to respond to the POC below. 4. Instructions: Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted electronically (via ) SUBJECT: "The Dalles Fire Maint Services Sources Sought." Respondents interested in performing the proposed project as a prime contractor should submit a capability statement for consideration that include the following: A. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, address, CAGE code and SAM number. B. Firm's small business category and Business Size: Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged (SDB), including 8(a) firms, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), including Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and -Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB). C. Indicate whether your company will provide these supplies directly or intends to subcontract a portion of the work. If subcontracting, identify which portions of the work will be performed by a subcontractor/other supplier. D. Any other relevant information that would assist in determining your company's capability in providing the requested materials. E. Any questions you have on the proposed project. All responses must be submitted in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Time on September 7th, 2023, or sooner would be preferred.
