Reference Number 0000256092 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/09/27 12:00:00 PM CDT Aggregate for winter sand shall consist of sound, tough, and durable pebbles or rock fragments and sand, and must be free from roots, sod, or other deleterious substances. The Contractor shall stockpile the screened sand in such a manner as not to contaminate the material when pushing up the stockpile. In the event the screened sand becomes contaminated with roots, dirt, or other deleterious material, the Contractor shall rescreen or dispose of the contaminated material at his own expense. Completion Date and Liquidated Damages Work shall be completed free of liquidated damages on or before OCTOBER 20, 2023. Liquidated damages, after this specified time limit, will be charged at the rate of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00) dollars per calendar day until the work is completed. Non-Performance The normal penalty for non-performance will be removal from the bidders list for two (2) years. Reinstatement after two (2) years will be on approval of the Department.
