Renovation of a mixed-use development in Didsbury, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Didsbury (herein after called the Town) invites interested and qualified contractors to submit quotations to extend and improve the existing ramp platform located at Didsbury Neighbourhood Place. This is part of a larger project to improve the entryway to be fully accessible to all users. The necessary modifications required by the contractor are: to widen the existing ramp one (1) metre in all directions to better accommodate mobility aid users to extend the existing ramp to allow access to both sets of accessible parking stalls; and to modify and repurpose the guardrails to accommodate for the extension SUPPLEMENTAL QUOTE - addition of a para-ramp to be installed to the north of the DNP entrance to service the current handicap parking stall. This quote should be separate from the above quoted project and may or may not be included as part of the project.
