As of November 1, 2024, this project has been awarded and will begin construction soon. Quote to hire a firm to complete an engineering design for the 1830 Waterline and Road Widening Project, as per the attached Scope of Work. The award of this project will be through a proposal format that is based upon the following factors with their assigned weights. Proposed Cost. Provide hourly rates for the key personnel identified. The hourly rates should be tied to the proposed timeline. Provide a "Not to Exceed" price for completing the services and providing the deliverables requested. The not to exceed price is a total overall cost and must include materials, supervision, labor, travel, per diem, insurance, printing, and any other related costs. Consultant will work with City Staff to develop a Preliminary Design, which at a minimum will contain the following: o Surveying, o Permitting, o Material descriptions and layouts, o Utility impacts, Finalized Plans, Construction Blueprints, Bidding Once the preliminary designs are approved the firm is to develop finalized plans and construction blueprints ready for bidding. Provide a list of suggested contractors to use for the construction of the project. Assist the City's Purchasing Department in bidding the project by participating in a pre- bid meeting and/or addressing questions during the bidding process. Upon the completion of the bid, review responses, make award recommendations and develop contract documents. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
