Project Description The City of Snoqualmie is seeking a consultant to help with the competitive process of securing a new comprehensive garbage, recyclables, and compostables collection agreement to begin on June 1, 2025. Project Overview The City of Snoqualmie currently has a solid waste collection agreement with Waste Management that will expire on May 31, 2025. The City of Snoqualmie is requesting qualifications from consultants to assist in the process of securing a new solid waste collection agreement. The consultant selected by the City will perform technical assistance as described in Attachment A, Draft Scope of Work, for this process. Upon selection and prior to executing a contract, the City and consultant will work to refine and finalize the scope of work. Submission Requirements Submittals shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages. Cover pages, resumes, references, and appendices do not count toward the page limit. As a minimum the following information shall be submitted: o A proposed schedule for completing the scope of work, including intermediate project stages and milestones leading to a final project and in sufficient detail to allow an assessment of the consultant's ability to provide the resources necessary to meet the schedule. o A discussion of previous experience with examples of similar projects. A list of references is encouraged as part of the submittal. o The consultant's identification of the critical work elements and how the team would address these issues. o A discussion of the consultant's overall approach to the project and plan to produce the required documents. o An organizational chart and resumes for project team members, including all sub-consultants. o A statement of the percentage of time the proposed key personnel will have available to devote to the project. o A completed Attachment B indicating the consultant's hourly rate and estimated hours to complete the draft scope of work (If the consultant's approach to the project differs from the draft scope of work, the submittal is encouraged to summarize proposed changes). No hard copies of qualifications will be accepted.)
