Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of realignment and reconstruction of approximately 1.2 miles of Cozy Corner Road, including clearing and grubbing, culvert replacement, grading, asphalt pavement, shouldering, and restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid price, payable to the Town of Lake, as a guarantee that the bidder, if bid is accepted, we will execute and file the proper contract and 100 percent performance and payment bonds within 15 days after the Notice of Award. The Town of Barksdale reserves the right to waive any formalities in the preparation of a bid and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the scheduled time of bid opening. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
